Transformational Change
Transformations occur when there is a definite need to change direction, introduce a new range of products, services or technology, or undertake a merger or acquisition.

There are three levels to the transformation process:
  1. Project management of the change itself.
  2. People management of key stakeholders concerned with the project, including looking at the impact on internal staff.
  3. Communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed of the project and its progress.

Cultural transformation occurs when the organisation lives its espoused values. Values-in-action is what makes healthy and productive workplaces.

Starting with a dream, the dreamer (often the CEO) must ‘look inside’ and share this vision with the senior team. The task is to gain commitment to an agreed way forward, and then devise strategies to achieve the dream. Gaining this commitment is essential and critical to moving ahead, for without complete alignment on purpose and strategy, efforts may fail.

Inspirational Leadership works with the senior team to ensure a smooth transition of the changes into the existing workplace, or a smooth merger of companies if there is an acquisition. The aim is to gain alignment on the vision and purpose, and then to devise strategies to achieve the vision from a basis of trust and mutual respect.

Interventions that can be delivered by Inspirational Leadership include:

  • Organisational Restructuring
  • Senior Team Alignment
  • Cultural Transformation
  • Executive Coaching including 360° feedback

“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.
Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.”
Carl Jung, Swiss psychiatrist, 1985-1961
